ABOUT CHAD
With a passion for magic that ignited over 40 years ago at the age of 10, Chad Currin has been captivating audiences worldwide. Having performed over 5000 shows across the United States, Canada, England, and France, Chad has entertained audiences of all kinds, including a memorable performance for the esteemed Royal Saudi Family in Nice, France.
His dynamic career has taken him to fairs, festivals, theme parks, schools, colleges, universities, and corporate events. Chad even served as a DJ on Radio Disney for over 5 years, where he had the honor of introducing the Jonas Brothers for their very first live performance at the Palace Theater in Albany, NY. Little did we know the incredible journey they would embark on!
During his time as an AFS foreign exchange student in France from 1984 to 1985, Chad immersed himself in a new culture and quickly learned the language within months, despite never having spoken a word of French before. This experience solidified his belief that nothing is impossible and that his purpose as a magician is to make the impossible possible.
In 1986, Chad combined “magic with a message” when he created the magic show “Feeling Great Just Being Me!” for Nancy Reagan’s DARE program. The show emphasized self-belief, setting ambitious goals, and working towards them, garnering tremendous success.
With the birth of “The Magical Spark!” presentation, Chad shares the unique problem-solving skills and the “slight of mind” he has developed throughout his career. He invites others to embrace their own spark and transform the seemingly impossible into reality.
Beyond his magical pursuits, Chad finds joy in photography, walking, hiking, snowshoeing, gardening, and, above all, cooking. He cherishes his role as a devoted husband and proud parent of two incredible adult children.
